FAQs: Sailing the Hvar & Vis Route
How do I visit the Blue Cave?
You anchor your yacht nearby and purchase a ticket. You will then be taken into the cave on small, official tour boats, as private vessels are not allowed inside.
Is it difficult to find a mooring in Hvar Town in summer?
Hvar is extremely popular. It’s essential to arrive early (around midday) to secure a spot on the town quay. Alternatively, we can help you book a mooring buoy in advance, or you can anchor in the Pakleni Islands and take a water taxi.
What are the must-try local experiences on Vis?
Beyond the Blue Cave, consider a military tour to see the old submarine tunnels, or a wine tasting to try the local Vugava white wine.
Can I do this route in reverse?
Absolutely! This itinerary is flexible. We can customize it to start and end wherever you prefer and adjust it based on weather conditions and your interests.
