Kornati Sailing FAQs

Yes, an entrance ticket is mandatory for sailing and anchoring in the park. We highly recommend buying it online at least one day in advance, as it is roughly 50% cheaper than buying it from the park rangers on-site.

There is one ACI Marina (Piškera) inside the park. However, most of the magic comes from anchoring in the designated, protected bays (like Levrnaka or Opat) or using the free mooring buoys provided by the local “konobas” (taverns) for their dinner guests.

The Kornati can be challenging. While beautiful, the islands are numerous, look similar, and there are many shallow areas and reefs. It is not recommended for inexperienced sailors. We strongly suggest hiring a skipper if you are not 100% confident.

Only in ACI Marina Piškera. In the isolated bays, there is no water or shore power. The Kornati is an “off-grid” experience, so you must manage your yacht’s water and battery supplies. This is the heart of its charm.
